Transitioning into Fall

This photo was taken by me a couple years ago
while vending at a local craft fair.
This is my favorite time of year.
Warm sunny days, with crispness in the air.
The leaves are turning splendid colors....
...and I feel less guilty spending time indoors in my studio.
The gardens no longer beckon me outdoors....
and it's still too early to rake the leaves...sooooo
I can now spend more time doing this.

Happy Fall, lovely Sam !

I can't believe we are where we are in the year but I have to say that this time of year is really good energy and creativity wise for me, which I love !

I am working on a big Rock Fairy project that has me rushing a bit with deadlines. I woke up this morning thinking how I miss my paintburshes and my papers and glue, and my journal !!! I must squeeze inthe time to re-connect with that wonderful tool in my own well being !

I hope your October is off to a lovely start. Sounds like the Fall nesting time is being good to you. Enjoy !
Light and love !

Hi Sam, it's great to meet you here in Blogland. :) I love journals and it's such a treat to have a peep inside other artists'! I've recently discovered the book Taking Flight and savoured every page of it. I'll certainly seek out more now you've suggested them. Thanks Sam!
